Renaissance storey chateau on the site of the original Gothic fortress. In 1682, rebuilt in the early baroque style. The chateau is surrounded by a beautiful chateau park, which was built probably in the early 17th century, and includes some exotic species of flora.

Libochovice chateau is the birthplace of Czech scientist Jan Evangelista Purkyně. To him is also dedicated one of four chateau guided tours.
